Abistu is currently in an early-access preparation stage. These documents explain the current service, privacy, cookie, acceptable-use, and legal information and may be updated before open registration, paid plans, or public commercial availability.

  • Abistu creates optimized gallery files for online viewing and is not intended to be the only backup or archive for your originals.
  • Abistu may restrict access to galleries or accounts if content or use appears to violate these terms, the law, or third-party rights.

This document is written in a practical and conservative way and may be updated as Abistu develops.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service form the basic agreement between Abistu and the person or organization using the service.

They are part of Abistu Legal Foundation v1 and are prepared before open registration, public commercial availability, or payment features are enabled.

2. About Abistu

Abistu is a private client gallery tool. It helps a user create a private gallery, share it by link, receive selected items, collect item-specific comments, receive one general request message, and keep the request easier to understand.

Abistu is not a social network, marketplace, public image hosting platform, digital asset management system, legal signature tool, or permanent archive.

3. Accounts and access

When accounts are enabled, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You must provide accurate information where the service asks for account, contact, billing, or operational details.

4. User content and ownership

You retain ownership of the images, text, comments, gallery details, and other materials that you upload or provide through Abistu.

Abistu does not claim ownership of your uploaded content.

5. Limited technical permission to operate the service

To provide the service, you give Abistu a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, process, resize, compress, convert, create previews and thumbnails, display, transmit, back up, and otherwise technically handle your content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

This permission is limited to service operation. It does not give Abistu a general right to sell your content or use your uploaded gallery images for advertising or model training.

6. Image processing

Abistu processes uploaded images to create optimized gallery versions, previews, and thumbnails for online viewing.

This processing may include resizing, compression, format conversion, metadata handling, and replacement of uploaded originals with optimized gallery files.

Original files, original resolution, original metadata, and original file formats may not be preserved unless Abistu explicitly states otherwise.

7. Private gallery links

Abistu galleries may be shared through private, unlisted links.

A private link is an access credential. Anyone with the full private link may be able to view the gallery, unless additional access controls are enabled.

You are responsible for sharing gallery links only with intended recipients and for regenerating, disabling, or deleting links where available if access should change.

8. Responsibility for uploaded content

You are responsible for the content you upload, store, share, or make available through Abistu.

By using Abistu, you confirm that you have all necessary rights, permissions, consents, releases, and lawful bases to upload, process, store, and share the content through the service.

  • You must not upload content that violates copyright, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, professional, or other third-party rights.
  • You must not upload unlawful, exploitative, non-consensual, harmful, or otherwise prohibited content.
  • You are responsible for assessing whether Abistu is appropriate for the type of content you upload.

9. Acceptable use

Your use of Abistu must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Abistu may restrict, disable, or remove content or accounts where we reasonably believe that use of the service violates the law, these Terms, third-party rights, or creates risk for users, third parties, or the service.

10. Not a backup or archive service

Abistu is designed for active client gallery sharing and client selection. It is not intended to be your only copy, permanent archive, cold storage system, or full digital asset management system.

You should keep your own backup copies of original files and other important materials.

11. Security and availability

Abistu uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect uploaded content and account data.

No online service, hosting environment, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee absolute security, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

12. Early-access status and service changes

Abistu may change, improve, limit, rename, remove, or add service functionality as the product develops.

Features, limits, storage behavior, registration rules, access controls, and pricing may change before public commercial launch.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Abistu is provided on an as-is and as-available basis.

Abistu does not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability of galleries, preservation of originals, compatibility with every browser or file type, or suitability for regulated, evidentiary, archival, medical, legal, or sector-specific requirements unless separately agreed in writing.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

14. Changes to these Terms

Abistu may update these Terms as the service develops. Material changes may require renewed acceptance once registration and acceptance logging are enabled.
